Upper School Math Teacher

Responsibilities: 

Teach four to five sections of Upper School Math. Draw from best practices to develop a dynamic curriculum that fosters a love of learning math. Create daily lesson plans that actively engage students in a learner-focused environment. Assess student work and provide prompt, constructive feedback to support their growth. Prepare detailed reports evaluating student progress. Participate in the academic life of the school.

Qualifications: 

A successful candidate will:

  • Believe that all students can achieve at the highest academic level
  • Be able to meet often to collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure student progress
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience teaching math in a classroom setting and a relevant degree
  • Recognize individual student learning needs and develop strategies to address those needs

Details:

This full-time, in-person position begins in the 2026-27 academic year. The salary range is 60-75k. This position is eligible for full benefits. Applicants must commute daily to Hoboken. If asked to interview, you will need to supply three professional references and hold a demo lesson.
